IDTA Rosette & Stardance Awards are the first steps towards doing accredited dance examinations, and these are designed to give dancers recognition and encouragement as they progress.

This year we are looking at Ballet, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft & Cheer

Our student aims:

’NOT IN THIS HOUSE!’ (2027)

A journey back to the 80s and 90s – when phones stayed at home, television finished for the night, and if you missed your favourite song… you had to wait for it to come back on the radio.

When a group of young people find themselves looking back at the world their parents grew up in, they discover a time before streaming, social media and being permanently connected.

Through theatre, dance and some of the biggest music of the 1980s and 90s, Not In This House! brings two generations together to explore how much has changed, from Saturday morning television, cassette tapes and landlines to the arrival of the internet, mobile phones and a completely new way of communicating.

Expect nostalgia, iconic music, plenty of laughs and more than a few moments of “You actually did WHAT?”

Created and performed by Theatre Led Arts, this large-scale company production celebrates the music, culture and memories that shaped two decades, while asking what today’s generation makes of the world that came before them.
