Biography

Courtney was destined to perform and teach. Coming from a lineage of musicians, actors, and singers, it was inevitable that when her father, Cleve, started teaching at TLA in 2011, the shy 14-year-old Courtney would eventually find her voice and leave a lasting impact on TLA’s history.
Courtney embodies the spirit of TLA, often expressing that Saturdays are the highlight of her week.
Her passion and enthusiasm for everything TLA make her an invaluable team member, essential to TLA's identity.

Training

Courtney joined TLA at 14. Under Tonicha's guidance, Courtney thrived. When she graduated from the Graduates Drama programme, Tonicha offered her the first spot in the TLA Teacher Training programme. Trained by both Tonicha and later Jennifer, Courtney became the first successful graduate of the scheme. She went on to become an excellent drama and LAMDA teacher, and in 2018, she was appointed TLA’s Deputy Principal.
Currently, Courtney is the Head of Drama, leading her own team and assisting with the TLA teacher training scheme.
