Megan started dancing at the age of 5. She trained in Cecchetti Ballet and ISTD Modern and Tap. At the age of 16, Megan joined a jazz/cabaret performance group in Sheffield, performing regularly at events and shows.
At 18 years old, she went to study at the University of Leeds. There, she joined the Modern Dance Society, competing with their advanced jazz and lyrical competition teams, around the country, for the next 3 years. During her time with the Modern Dance Society, she was the Secretary in her final year, and ultimately became the Competition Rep, organising the annual university competition, bringing together universities from around the country to compete against each other.
She is now studying for her master’s degree at Leeds Beckett University and continues to compete with the Modern Dance Society competition teams.
Megan started teaching at TLA in June 2019, teaching Musical Theatre (Seniors) and Broadway, also she is currently choreographing selected numbers for Grease. She started teaching dance to the Tiny Little Actors in September 2019. Megan has loved her time at TLA so far and can’t wait to keep helping the students develop in Dance and Musical Theatre.
